Fabric:
High counted Cotton hemp material. An eco-friendly material made of fast-growing hemp that does not require chemical fertilizers or agricultural chemicals. In order to remove the tenseness and hardness of the hemp, it is finished with Oumi sarashi and kneaded to achieve a moderate softness and unevenness. Oumi sarashi is a process in which fabrics are bleached white by exposing them to sunlight while being covered with lye, which is made by dissolving the ash from burning wood or plants in water, leaving the fabric soft to the touch in a way that bleaching agents cannot. The fabric is sulfur garment dyed to create a vintage feel.
